Great information. I love blogging and this is helpful information, even though I don't currently use wordpress.org.
You are da Girl! :) (yeah I know… but I try to be hip.)

Sweet list! These are some of my favourites too. But! I didn't know about the database manager1 I've been manually going to my host and backing up my site once a month. LOL

Heather I am glad you wrote this as I just was talking to a friend about how I need to learn about wp plug ins. I have much to learn.

Nice to know I'm doing it right! I have to check with my IT guy (my husband!) to see if he installed the Database Manager though. Excellent reminder to back up your work!

My favorite plugin is CommentLuv. I definitely think it attracts more commenters, and creates more of a community on my blog. I know my readers are more likely to click over to each other when they can see those post titles.

Great list! I'm going to try the comment responder and WP reports plugins. I had another comment plugin once; I didn't like it and didn't try another. I use the Google Analytics one, but like the idea of viewing all those stats in one place (since I rarely go check the Analytics stats).

    Thanks!

Okay, I've been muttering to myself for ages that I need something like the comment email responder. I just never got around to searching for something. Thank you for answering my WordPress prayers!

Sigh… I wish I'd known all this before I picked Blogger back in the day. Great info!
