Sounds beautiful and functional.

I think a bottom sheet to hold all three beds is a great idea. My husband and I slept on 2 twins held together by one king size fitted sheet for a while.

If I can make a suggestion though, I would leave the covers somewhat separate. Speaking as the Mom who ends up in the middle of a king size bed all the time, I really don’t like the being trapped under the covers feeling.

Thanks beachmom! I can’t wait for you to see the pictures.

We wanted the girls to be able to make the bed by themselves so I chose a really fluffy comforter that would mask any bumps below in the sheet that did/didn’t get properly pulled up.

love love love your ideas … and the color scheme is terrific! I agree with you about making the middle bed … we don’t have that issue here, but since the kids now make their own beds, to make their lives easier I did away with the concept of the top sheet, and they each have a thin quilt that they tuck into a pillow case and stack behind their menagerie of sleeping pillows. It makes making the bed a snap … just a thought.
