my mom had us do this growing up. It was “back-to-school” week. So, with DS5 starting Kindergarten this year, we are doing the same. We eat lunch earlier than we’re used to, load up the brood into the van, and drive to school. Then I have said son walk across the playground to the classroom door and walk back. Then we head home. It has been a great way for him to get used to something new and scary! Now we’re ready for school in 5 days.
