  1. I actually JUST ordered that 2nd on the other day! I love that it's simple and pretty without being too girly. Now if I could just keep the dogs off of it….!

  2. Miss Britt

I couldn't do that color blue. But if I DID, I would go with the brown because I think it would help "ground" it a little bit.

  3. Beachmom

I would definitely go for the brown comforter – love that one, but more importantly I would go for anything dark because I need a focus in a room, and with that color blue, the other lighter covers don't offer enough contrast. (that is my humble opinion, so humble, we still have 'builders white' on the walls of our bedroom because I cannot, cannot pick a color!!)

  4. I'd go for the 3rd one (Laura Ashley). I guess I'm just old fashioned LOL :-)

  5. That's funny, because this is almost the blue we're painting our room. The ceiling will be a khaki color. Our bed is pure white- white duvet, white sheets, white pillow cases. I add color with throw pillows- right now they're blue and green. It's light and airy, and not too girly for my husband.

  6. Out of these three I would go for the Laura Ashley one but not because I absolutely love it because the other two are too modern for my taste.

We had a guest bedroom with a similar color and I did all white bed with dark wood furniture. The bedding had some small eyelet detail to help and then I did a couple of coral colored accent pillows. Also some of the artwork on the walls had coral in them. I got a lot of compliments on that room…now that room has been turned into a nursery for our little one who is due in October!

    Good luck!

Brown definitely. I like brown. I don't like blue unless it's navy blue and I don't like flowers.

The brown one is pretty much what I wanted to get when I was shopping for bedding.

@autumn dalia, that's wild you got #2 and HERE it is!

@Miss Britt, keeps it more modern, hip, trendy I think. Which is TOTALLY you (the hip, trendy non-croc shoe wearing part :) .

@Beachmom, I agree with it needing some UMPF. LOL on the builder's white.

@Seemediet, A LOT of people LOVE Laura Ashley. She must be doin SOMEthing right!

@myrnie, this same color is in my bathroom an I have ALL WHITE in there and LOVE it. I have 2 cats though, so I need to have a bedspread that hides dirt.

@Debbie, that sounds pretty! Congratulations on the new addition coming soon!

Tabitha, I the like brown & blue together A LOT for some odd reason.

  9. Shades of Pink

I'd go with the brown. Why? Because my bedroom is a touch darker than the blue pictured here and my comforter is brown. It has an Indian inspired turqoise design around the edge. I think there is something about the darker colors that are restful to me.

  10. my room is that color blue! i chose that color when i was on my own and wanted bright cheery place to go to even when my life was sad and gloomy.

i would totally go for the brown! it would help "man it up" for my husband. he'd like that ;O)

  11. I personally would have the second one because it feel so clean and serene. However, keeping hubby in mind, I'd pick the first one because it is not overwhelmingly 'feminine'.

  12. Actually, I'm going to suggest that you fly down to Nashville and visit a little shop that I call "heavenly", but it's really http://www.bellalinea.com/.

I'm promise…if you treat yourself to their bed linens, you will want to sleep naked the rest of your life!

  13. I LOVE the 2nd one! And everyone keep saying they have to make their rooms 'manly'–why? the bedroom you share w/your man is a place of love and romance–not the room you pay bills and clean guns–hopefully.
we've tried the comforter route–but keep going back to the down comforter & duvet. Love it so much! We've just learned to layer a thin blanket underneath. That way we just unpeel the bed as much as needed before we go to sleep.

  14. Is this for my bed? (lol) Then…I'd pick none of them! The first two are too modern and the last one is too girly. But the second modern one is the nicest, imo. :o ) I'm a duvet girl, usually. Last time though, I bought a comforter, though it's only ever been folded down at the end of my bed. We sleep under a quilt. Did I throughly confuse you?

  15. crystalreflections

    I like the second one…
It is lively and yet not too busy. I like that it is soft and clean and so inviting. The brown is too masculine for me. The third is too girly.
The second is something I would buy for the guest room or my daughter's bedroom.
For my bedroom, I would usually get a simpler pattern so my husband will not feel uninvited. ;-)

  16. Well, I guess I would choose the third because the other two are a little too modern for my tastes. However, I do really love the brown and blue clor combination in the first one. Very pretty. Something with that color combination and a more traditional, slightly feminine look would be perfect for me!

  17. Jasi

Multi-colored. It provides calm interest without going over the top. Casual and contemporary without being too bold and modern. Also it's a super cheat to picking an accent color, the sage green. I would absolutely go with that.

WOW you guys are full of fabulous ideas. I think I'm more confused than ever! LOL!

Would it be wrong to just paint the room and start all over? ~sigh~

  19. Angie @ Many Little Blessings

I like both the first and second choices, but for different reasons. I think I would go with the brown if I wanted something really bold, and the second one if I wasn't up for going quite that bold. LOL The third one doesn't do anything for me at all.

  20. Oooh, Laura Ashley…for spring. The brown for winter. Hubby would insist on sleeping separately, though, but he'd deal. I love changing it up for the seasons. They're all really pretty choices, Darla! I just love the funkiness of the brown one but Laura Ashley does make me swoon.

  21. I would pick the multi-color as you can accent with different colors and it looks fresh.

  22. Oooo, the second one! I think it would create a peaceful look which is what I crave in my bedroom / retreat.

Which Halloween candy will you "confiscate" from your children?
