Last week I asked you what great Holiday ideas you have using dollar store stuff, and you had some really great ideas!
- Ginger-Birdhouse Activity: I love this dollar store birdhouse turned into a gingerbread house activity by Paula from Recipe for Chaos. She purchased wooden birdhouses at the dollar store as well as glue, paint, and candies to decorate the houses with.
- Advent Wreath: Melanie said that her family bought a 15 inch green wreath, a package of purple votives and one white pillar candle (total=$3) so they can light a candle during family time to celebrate advent.
- Treasure Box o' Prizes: Joline made a "treasure box" and filled it with dollar store toys and stickers to use as incentives to help potty train her son. This is a great year-round dollar store tip!
And the winner is…. Joline!
Joline wins the adorable Robin Hood hat from World of Whimm! Congratulations, Joline! Maybe you can put the hat in the Treasure Box for a prize!
