Blissfully Linked

I'm taking a quick break from my current obsession as an Olympics junkie to let you guys know about some must-see links I discovered for the week.

Free Stuff:

Degree For Men Sample  My pre-teen son is suddenly interested in deodorant…and I am suddenly terrified for my future.  At least I'll get a free sample out of the deal.
Celine Dion Perfume Sample: "Sensational"  Does admitting to you that I still sing Celine in the shower make you love me less?  My husband had to think about it a little.
Free GeoTrax DVD The GeoTrax website is allowing you to order a DVD for free with free shipping.  Enter your country in the top right corner and enter your information.  One entire bedroom in our home is being taken over by Geotrax.  I'll have to admit, playing train conductor is fun.

Contest Stuff:

NFL Take a Player To School Sweepstakes  My husband is hoping that teachers can take an NFL player to school.  He might end up as the coolest music teacher in the world.
Bed a Day Sweepstakes  Somebody is going to win a Sleep Number bed each day.  I think it should be you…or me…or both.
Micralite Folding Stroller Giveaway The Chic Shopper Chick is hosting a giveaway for the coolest stroller in the world.  She's even got a way for you to have unlimited chances to win.

Fun Stuff:

Online Etch-A-Sketch Use the arrow keys to manipulate the etch-a-sketch.  Make a really cool picture.  Or if you're like me, make a really lame picture and have fun doing it.
Online Mad Libs I'm kind of boring with what the words I use.  It always seems like my Mad Libs make perfect sense, which is rather boring.  I'm counting on you to do better.

In the Know:

Calculate Babysitting Rates  I don't even want to know what the going rate is to babysit 5 kids in my neck of the woods.  I know you couldn't pay me enough.  Although any compensation would be nice.

Books

Goodreads  Can I stress how much I love this site?  You can enter and rate all of the books that you are reading.  Then your friends join and rate all of their books.  You can even create reading clubs with friends miles away.
Olympics Coverage My kids had the gall to ask if they could watch a movie downstairs this morning.  Didn't they know that handball, beach volleyball, rowing, and prelims for swimming were going on. And in case you're into shiny things…keep track of the medal count.

Head on over to the Blissfully Domestic Forums and let me know your favorite Olympic sports to watch.  What sports should they add before next year?  I'm wondering why laundry races haven't made it in yet.  I would totally rock that sport.

Know some exciting places that Blissfully Domestic readers should know about?  Email Sarah and let her know what you'd like to see Blissfully Linked. She scours the Internet for the best freebies, contests, time-wasters, and information…when she's not trying to be the World's Greatest Mommy.

I hate to admit it, but I checked out the Avon Celine Fragrance and dang it, I like it! Who wants to admit that?

I loved her before her life got a little tabloid-ish (Renee' and all), but I gotta say the fragrance she put her name on is very nice.

If you'd like a free sample email your address to me (queen@princesstimetoys.com) and I'll send you one.

    Thanks!
