So even though my girls are in Kindergarten, they were given a "Patriotic Symbol" report to do. They can dress up, provide props, or do a poster to help with the report & increase their points for a better grade….yes, I said "grade." Here in Alabama, they don't mess around! It's definitely not how I remember kindergarten!
I know there are many sites out there like Microsoft that offer tons of "clip-art." But in doing a specific search for "patriotic symbols" I came across this site. It is a wonderful source of "school" related topics for some amazing art. Another site that I came across that was helpful in obtaining information to explain the symbols & what they stood for, that the girls chose was Mr. Donn. It's an amazing site for "patriotic symbols." It offers clip-art, worksheets, games etc. The girls are sure to get a good grade with the help of these sites!
And though this isn't really a "craft," I thought that y'all might find this information useful in helping your own kids with their school work or projects.
