Hi, my name is Jenny, and I'm a lip balm addict. I love the stuff! If I don't have one in my pocket at all times, I freak out. Before sitting down to write this, I went through the pockets of three pairs of jeans and came up with five different tubes of it. Then, I moved on to my vanity, where I came up with three or four more. And that's just the open ones. I also found nine, count 'em NINE unopened lip balms in my possession.
Lucky for me, as addictions go, this is a pretty good one to have. Fall is here, and with winter's dry air on the way, it's time to make sure your lips are moisturized and healthy. Here are some of my favorite lip products to help you do just that.
Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm is a lip balm staple for me. It moisturizes amazingly well with lanolin, coconut oil, and sunflower oil, and the beeswax seals in the moisture. I love, love, love its long-lasting moisture and the peppermint tingle it give my lips.
Mary Kay Satin Lips is actually a dynamic duo. What I love about this set is it's actually a two-step treatment. Our lips, unlike the rest of our skin, don't exfoliate themselves. The Mary Kay Satin Lips mask exfoliates your lips, getting rid of dry skin and leaving them smooth. The Satin Lips Balm then restores moisture and also adds a pretty shine.
Bonne Bell Lip Smacker Starburst Party Pack, 8 Pieces have been a favorite of mine since I was a teenager. They provide a beautiful shine and there are so many yummy flavors to choose from! Some flavors, like the Cherry Coke Lip Smacker, also add a bit of color with that shine and moisture. Lip Smackers are great when your lips are dry but you also want brighten up your look.

Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Lip Butter, Dark Chocolate & Cherry is a new love of mine. The smell and taste is heavenly and it uses Vitamin E to provide long-lasting moisture and a subtle shine. I love sliding this on my lips after a meal when my lipstick is a little worn and I just want to add some shine and moisture to my color.
All of these great products are very affordable, so go getcha some and smooth out those dry, cracked kissers!

LOL…this cracks me up. My mom is a total lip balm addict herself. I love me some good lip balm so I'll have to try these!
Hi Jenny. I'm Finn, and I'm a lip balm addict, too. My favorite is Burt's Bees in the tin. It's perfect. And now I want to try that Palmer's stuff. Thanks for feeding my addiction!
Laura Mercier has a lip care duo with an exfoliator and conditioner as well. It's probably more expensive than the Mary Kay, but may be easier for some people to get hold of.
