I WISH I could drink that much water! lol I have a horrible time becoming dehydrated, but just can't seem to bring myself to drink the water. I have tried, many times, but always go back to the pop, which is horrible for me.

While there are plenty of things that can help hydrate, and coffee can have those properties, I think it has too many side effects and negative reactions to be considered a good replacement for water. Water with lemon and freshly squeezed juices are always the best.

You are so right about all of this, but I really have to chime in on the water thing. While it's absolutely true that you don't NEED 8x2 H20, making sure you actually get it can help with so many things. I can tell you firsthand that if you have arthritis? 8x8 IS YOUR BEST FRIEND. ;-) Etc. So, we definitely should't feel guilty if we don't glug... but it's not something to completely disregard.

Ok, done "poking at it with a stick." ;-P
