I love Jen's thoughts on how to decide if you should keep something in your home or not. This is also useful when thinking about a purchase. Too bad I am ready to track her down and buy everything she's considering getting rid of.

Lastly, I like to pop in at decor8 every so often in order to keep up with what's going on in the real design world. This blog is fresh and fantastic and makes me feel old.

Great. Now you've got me all paranoid about my roosters. So, what do you do if you want to get rid of things in your house when they are gifts from people that will see that you aren't using them?
Mrs. B, don't be paranoid! I have some roosters too, and I am generally anti-theme. I wrote and saved a whole post that I need to publish that addresses some of those issues…I'll put it out there soon, maybe it will be helpful.
Nester, I went to see what Jen was wanting to get rid of and I had to laugh. I'd take those things off her hands no problem! But I know what she means, it is an issue that a lot of us face.
I feel old too when I look at Decor 8. But, I'll admit looking at all that modern stuff keeps my ideas from getting in a rut!
