		<description>I can&#039;t recall where I heard of the Push-Up Plan, but my husband and I hold each other accountable for completing one push-up more than the previous day. I started with two and did five last night and will do six later this evening. Until you can do 100 push-ups. There is no pressure to kill myself. I have actually been shocked that I did five yesterday without getting as tired as when I did two the first night.

		<description>Getting to the self-motivated point is tough. For several years, the only time I would run regularly would be the two months prior to the backpacking vacations my husband and I are so fond of. We do two a year, so this actually meant I was active about 4-5 months of the year, but once we got home...nothing.

Just over a year ago, though, I finally broke through the &quot;doing it by myself&quot; barrier and have been getting out two to three times a week. Sure, I&#039;d rather sleep in, but the results speak for themselves.

Just today, in fact, I got up at 5am so I could get my run in before going to work. Then again, this time of year, I have to run pre-sunrise to beat the 100 degree and 90% humidity days!

I am at the computer all day, too. I thought that I could set a limit, say every 50 min go to 10 min of stretching or back strengthening.  While that hasn&#039;t happened, I&#039;ve found that if I go lay flat on my back periodically, it helps with computer-instigated back fatigue.  I also have a &quot;foam roller&quot; which helps tremendously!
