The widly held belief has been that Macs are not susceptible to viruses. So when Washington Post blogger Brian Krebs wrote that Apple has been hushy-hushy about recommending spyware, it ruffled a lot of feathers.
After all, most people who buy Macs are doing so because of the perceived inability to catch a malicious virus.
