Do you have a table that greets your guests when they arrive?
When my guests arrive, the first thing they see is my table in the foyer. I love to change it up for the fall season. This year I headed to Michaels Crafts and the dollar store before I began my seasonal decorating. Every craft store carries these artificial pumpkins. I purchased two of them, but I wanted to "glitz" them up a bit.
Here's a decorating tip…I purchased a bottle of gold metallic craft paint and brushed it on the pumpkins. Now they have an elegant look with a metallic shimmer.
Next stop on my shopping list was the dollar store. I picked up this frame for a dollar. It was nothing special, but I had plans to change that.
I used the same metallic gold craft paint and brushed it on the frame. Next I printed out the words, GIVE, THANKS and ALWAYS on my computer. I ran some newspaper through my printer, the words then printed out on the newspaper. My dollar store frame now looks like something you would find in a designer gift shop.
With these easy tips, you too can have a table that will greet your guests during the Fall season!
