Cecily Doll from Made by Maisie

Cecily

All of the Made by Maisie dolls are similar in design, but Catherine can work with you to personalize your doll with different colors, patterns, and fabric. What little girl wouldn't be delighted to get a doll that looked like a version of herself or her friends?

Made by Maisie also maintains a terrific blog where you can see the dolls as they go from idea to reality.

I hope you enjoyed today's pick. If you see an item or shop that you'd like reviewed, please drop me a line!

  1. I can personally attest to the quality and sheer gorgeousness of Catherine's dolls. I just bought a Missy Mermaid doll from her yesterday at the BrisStyle Christmas Market – my daughter is going to LOVE her!!!

Great article, and really really great dolls :D

    Cheers,

  2. I agree with Bec – Made By Maisie dolls are great !! They are so pretty, and so well made. You definitely get what you paid for, Australian artists and crafters really are bringing out some awesome talent.

    Cheers,

  3. Catherine's dolls are simply gorgeous. We were allocated close to each other at yesterday's BrisStyle Christmas Market and I go to know some of her dolls on a personal level. They are beautifully made and so endearing.

  4. Thanks so much for featuring me on your blog, I have just been made aware of it. I am still recovering from my first markets on Saturday, where lots of Maisies went to new homes.

This Cecily Maisie doll has travelled to Adelaide and is for sale at Nest Studio http://www.neststudio.typepad.com

Lots more Maisies have been added to my etsy store too.

Thanks once again for your kind words.

  5. Cat's dolls are so gorgeous and I've seen the quality of them in real life too. Her breathtaking display of these beautiful girls were one of the many handmade treasures at the BrisStyle's Christmas market last saturday. Just quietly, I have my eye on the shorter red haired version, I think her name is Abby?. I secretly hope she didn't sell her last saturday ;)

Will you see the new Twilight movie New Moon on Friday?
