Etsy Love – A Little Bird

Sunshine, fresh cut grass and bird's chirping can perk a body up. But living in Chicagoland I can't depend on nature to bring me my favorite things. Best to buy some sweet stuffed birds to perch on my windowsill so I can smile through the cloudy days too.

Old School Acres makes fantastic stuffed owls with vintage fabric scraps and buttons. She usually has a limited supply in her shop but will accept custom orders If you contact her through Etsy. She'll also put a little music box inside so your bird can sing sweet tunes.

Vermont Fairies makes the most wee little birds out of felted wool. All of Vermont's creations are all handmade with fibers and wool from the  sheep, llamas, and angora rabbits that live on their farm.

Cornflake Girl makes the cutest birds ever to perch on a windowsill. I love this quirky Kaylee Bird. And her wedding toppers are even sweeter than the cake.

Cookoriko's birds are very simple in the best of ways. She usually uses a solid base for the body and then a vintage scrap for the wings. Soothing and oh so pretty.
