I may be one of those outdoorsy, earthy crunchy, organic loving, busy moms of two but I am still a girl who loves to glam it up when I can. So when the opportunity to try Eve Organics Cosmetics was presented to me, I was thrilled to be able to combine the best of my love for all things green and my love for all things girly.
Before the samples arrived I had a few minutes to do a little research on Eve Organics' products, philosophy and company background. What I found seriously impressed me. From the Eve Organics web site…

Along with Eve Organics' philosophy on natural ingredients they vow to "Give back to the community." According to their website "Every quarter Eve Organics will give 10% of it's net profits to a different charity to help support people or communities in need. The organizations we choose to support we believe will use the money directly for it's cause, not to pay it's administrators." We would be a better nation if more companies had that same philosophy! And speaking as once a long time employee of a non-profit, it's fantastic to see that Eve Organics will also accept nominations towards the quarterly donations they give. You can have a say in what organizations Eve Organics supports!
Last week I put away my regular moisturizer, blush, eye shadows, lip balm and gloss and gave Eve Organics my undivided attention. The Quantum Quencher Facial Moisturizer, Mineral Blush, Mineral Eye Shadows and Natural Lip Gloss and Lip Balm did not disappoint.
Eve Organics Quantum Quencher Facial Moisturizer
I was pleasantly surprised at the lightness of this moisturizer. With Jojoba, coconut and avocado oils I expected a heavy, greasy moisturizer but what I found was the exact opposite! This moisturizer has a great feel to it when applied, it was light, airy, had a great natural scent and helped with my dry early winter skin. My foundation looked flawless when applied on top of this moisturizer.
Eve Organics Mineral Blush
Easy to apply, looked naturally flawless and sheer enough for day but has just enough sparkle to look fab for those oh so rare date nights that I cherish! And besides, this was the world most perfect blush color! You know that rosy look you get when just getting finished with a hike in the early morning? That's the color of the blush they sent me and I am hooked!
Eve Organics Eye Shadows
What I really dislike about a lot of eye shadows is that by the end of the day they have melted off your eyelids and have found a new home underneath your eyes, which is not the greatest of looks. Not the case with the Eve Organics Mineral Eyeshadows. Tap a bit of shadow into the cap, dip your brush into the powder and apply. Easy! By the end of the day my eye makeup looked just as fresh as they did 10 hours earlier. No touch ups necessary. The Eve Organics Mineral Eye Shadow's had great shimmer and glow without the cakey-ness of other shadows.
Eve Organics Peppermint Lip Balm
Like everyone else who deals with the cold, wintery wind every year you'll know that a great lip balm can be your best friend. This peppermint lip balm was minty, soothing and best of all, long lasting! It did wonders for my lips overnight and is now happily residing in my pocket to be used several times a day!

Eve Organics Natural Lip Gloss
This stuff is awesome! How many lip glosses can you say give you a great gloss without that tacky, sticky feel to them? This one does! No funky odor that some glosses can have and it made my lips super soft and gave a great subtle color that lasted quite a while. I'll be buying more in different colors for sure and plan on adding them as stocking stuffers for my mom and sister.
