Extend the life of salon hair color with Clairol Shine Happy

I'm a professional hair color addict.  I have learned the hard way that coloring my hair at home is a disaster, and I am willing to sacrifice many personal expenses to maintain salon highlights.

Thankfully, I have found a way to extend the length of time between obtaining the decadent foils that turn my head into Tina Turner's Private Dancer 'do: Clairol Natural Instinct Shine Happy.  When my roots are looking a little Mafia-wife and my ends a little straw-like and drab, about 8 weeks after a salon visit, I apply Shine Happy and get a beautiful boost that buys me another 6 weeks before needing to hit the salon.

Shine Happy is safe for natural, color-treated, highlighted, permed and relaxed hair.  However, it is not recommended for gray hair or gray roots. It provides a glossy shine and through the use of a teensy amount of peroxide reactivates and brightens professional and home-grown haircolor, but will not turn your hair Sun-In orange.  I promise.

If you color your hair, use Clairol Shine Happy no sooner than 4 weeks after color treatment.  If you have natural hair you can use whenever and every 4 weeks for extra shine and brightness.  As with all beauty treatments, before using be sure to read the application instructions.  Shine Happy includes a weekly conditioner to keep the tresses glowing and soft for 4 weeks after application of the initial treatment.

Your salon colorist may not be pleased that she is seeing you less, but when you see your  Visa bill, you will be.
