fall decor: using nature

  phpDodrTF

Crab apples from my backyard tree were picked and de-stemmed to add a little flair to my pumpkin and placed on a stand

Some may call me cheap, I like to think of myself as frugal, or an opportunist to find ways to spend less. as we find ourselves knee deep into fall here, I came to realize I wanted a little more than just pumpkins around my house to celebrate the new season. here are a couple of ideas on how to use nature to spruce up the space a little more.

I have these apples year round on my table but with some pine cones added to them and voila!

I added some leaves under some of my pumpkins to give the fall-y feeling a little more umph. instead of spending tons of cash on more fake pumpkins or on scarecrows, go outside, look around see what you can use and bring it inside for a classy spruce up!
