As the proud and somewhat irritable owner of two flat-and-always-sore-post-kids feet, I am always on the lookout for footwear that is comfortable and fashionable. Recently I was sent a couple of pairs to review that really fit the bill and I know you'll love them too!
First, I'll tell you about the warm, cushy, heavenly and CUTE original Muk-Luks Toggle Boots:
These toggle boots have a suede sidewall and can be worn folded over, slouched or as is. They are fleece-lined and have a padded sole and they feel heavenly on! They're as comfortable as a slipper but you can wear them out, too. (I look very cute in these at the grocery store. Ask anyone at Kroger.) Muk-Luks have several different styles, including these adorable puddle boots:
These are so charming they almost make me wish it would rain!
My next new favorite pair of shoes are from Cape Clogs.
These are real, Swedish-made, wood-and-leather clogs and they are ca-ute! But they are also comfortable. I never could have dreamed that wooden shoes would be comfy, but that solid wood is really supportive of those arches! And just look at all these gorgeous designs!
These clogs are very high-quality, durable, and chock-full of personality! They are the perfect stylish yet comfortable addition to any casual outfit!
Lastly, I've learned of a new product that actually helps your uncomfortable shoes become comfortable. They are Dr. Rosenberg's Instant Arches.
Invented by a podiatrist, these tiny little pads are made of some magic material (that's the technical term) that create support, comfort, and cushioning for your tired, sore tootsies. Just stick 'em on the insides of yours shoes (they're adhesive) and they make even the most torturous footwear bearable if not comfortable! I've got a couple of pairs of these and they really help my feet out a lot. It took me a few tries to get my Instant Arches in the exact right spot, but once I did, they made a world of difference in how my feet felt in my high-heeled shoes! These make a great gift for YOURSELF this holiday season!
