Featured Member Recipe – Skillet Macaroni & Cheese

Suz says: I love this recipe because within 30 minutes I can have something homemade, warm and filling on the table.

Skillet Macaroni & Cheese

1/4 cup butter
1 Tbsp flour
1 (8 oz.) package macaroni
3 1/2 cups milk
2 cups shredded cheddar

1. Melt butter in skillet. Stir in flour. Add macaroni and milk. Cover and bring to a boil. Simmer until pasta is tender (about 15 minutes). Stir occasionally. Add cheese; stir until melted (don't boil).

2. Season with salt, pepper, cayenne, etc., and serve.
