Reduce, Reuse Recycle!
My daughter completely picked out this project from a book she picked out at the library. As an adult it would not have been something that would have caught me eye to do, which is why I like her to pick fun projects out sometimes. The craft is really quite simple….
1. Cut the egg cartoon vertically to leave 2 egg slots connected.
2. Trim so it will open and close and cut two small holes for fingers.
Hopefully it is self explanatory in this picture…
3. Paint in beautiful bright colors.
4. Decorate any which way you would like. You can use feathers, pipe cleaners, "gogglie" eyes, markers, glitter, the point being to use what you have on hand not to go out and buy more.
5. Let dry and have a fun puppet show!
Vanessa loves learning how be more eco-friendly with her children at her blog I Never Grew Up.

These are adorable! Oh, how I love egg cartons. The possibilities are endless.
