  • Do scavenger hunts around the house
  • Play hide n go seek (this works really well if you find a really great spot and bring a magazine and relax while hiding)

    1. My kids love making forts. Great ideas. Thanks for sharing.

    2. The Happy Rock

We like to go pretend camping. Build yourself a tent and bring some flashlights and let the imagination do the rest. Sometimes we are in the artic with polar bears, sometimes it is in the jungle with spiders. It is all fun!

      Great ideas.

    3. The fort idea reminded me of one my grandmother told me about. Remove the chairs from around your dining room table. Then take newspapers and tape them around the top, letting them hang down to make walls. They should touch the floor. Cut out windows and leave a door opening. My kids LOVED this!
