We all need some fun in our lives. Going to the movies is an activity we can share with our children, our whole family or our significant other. Saving money on moie tickets is pretty simple if you know where to look.
When To Go:
- Matinees are sometimes cheaper than night time movies. Check with your local theaters on their prices.
- During the summer some theaters hold children's movie days. Yes it's a movie you may have see on DVD already but getting out of the house with friends can make the summer boredom disappear. And low ticket prices make it even easier to kick back.
- Catch a flick you haven't seen that's on it's way to DVD. Many theaters show older movies for very cheap prices.
Where to Save:
- Do you belong to AAA (Amercian Automobile Association)? They offer discount movie tickets if you purchase a booklet of them. Use during the time period allowed and save.
- Warehouse clubs like Costco, BJ's and Sam's Club also offer these type of tickets.
- Check for free tickets online, on the radio and in the newspaper for movie premiers. You may have to enter a contest or use a BOGO (But One Get One Free) coupon.
Head on over to the forum and share your frugal movie trips!
