My cousin managed to score several passes to a sneak screening of "Four Christmases" starring Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon and lucky me, I got to see the movie last week, despite the fact that it won't be in theaters until Wednesday.
In the flick, Kate (Witherspoon) and Brad (Vaughn) are a San Francisco couple derailed from their Fiji Christmas vacation by a thick fog grounded all flights out. Instead of their trip to Fiji, the couple spends the day celebrating the holidays with their families – his dad, her mom, his mom and her dad (ah yes, one two three FOUR Christmases). Chaos and comedy mix here.
I loved the star studded cast (in addition to the main characters, look for Robert Duvall, Jon Favreau, Tim McGraw, Sissy Spacek, Mary Steenburgen and Kristin Chenowith… and MORE).
The movie is definitely what you would expect if you are a fan of Vince Vaughn, though it's not his best work. It's still a great light movie with lots of laughs.
Sarah is on a whirlwind November movie-viewing streak. In between flicks, she also writes at The Mom Chronicles.
