The sweet scent of gingerbread always takes me on a journey down memory lane. There's not a Christmas I can remember without it.
So every year I anticipate re-creating this tradition with my family and let me tell you we love us some gingerbread men! We smell them, we eat them, and we craft them.

Every year we do our gingerbread house tradition; carefully baking and cutting the freshly baked gingerbread and decorating it with all of our favorite candies. Then it sits for a month and we throw it to the birds.
