About a year ago I was walking down the cleaner aisle at Target looking for my favorite tub of Clorox wipes when something else caught my eye
I had recently started becoming interested in what it means to Live Greener so I stopped to read the label on this new-to-me product.
- Non-Toxic
- Compostable Wipes
- Planet Friendly
I figured it was worth a try. Boy was I glad I did. These wipes are great! Not only do they clean well but they have absolutely no smell and I feel good using them because I know they won’t be hanging out in the landfill for years to come.
On my next trip to Target I saw another Method product that I thought might be worth a try.
I have to say, this is my favorite Method product! It not only does a great job of cleaning the mold, mildew, and soap scum out of my showers it also smells good. Now I can clean my shower without having to leave the fan on to get rid of the yucky cleaner smell cuz Tub-N-Tile cleaner smells pleasant & is non-toxic!After using the wipes and tub cleaner and absolutely loving them, I decided to find out more about the products and the Method Company. My biggest surprise was that the products were created by guys, and not just any guys, college guys. (I never knew that college guys cleaned.) Eric Ryan and Adam Lowry were roommates in college when they developed the idea for people, environmentally, and animal friendly products and are now “the founders of one of the fastest-growing private companies in America” and are “turning the consumer-packaged-goods industry on its head.”
I have since added a few more Method products to my cleaning line up:

Now every time one of my “regular” cleaners runs out I replace it with a better smelling, greener Method cleaner and I can’t be happier! (Did I just say I can’t be happier about cleaning?)
Have you ever used a Method Product? If so, how do you like them? Are there other green products you use? If so, I would love to hear about it in the comments section.

I tried their line and love the furniture polish. I tried the laundry soap and it made me itchy. Too bad there! I have also tried the hand soap and the counter cleaner, love it!
I have been using their Tub+Tile cleaner for more than a year and I will never go back to anything else. (Unless they stop selling it, which might make me cry…) It doesn't leave me gasping for air after cleaning because it doesn't fill the bathroom with nasty fumes. I also use the Method daily shower spray, the all-purpose spray for cleaning my kitchen counters and the furniture polish. Great stuff.
I looove method cleaners! In fact I wrote a whole post about when I discovered the new bathroom cleaners. I'm glad I'm not the only one to get excited over that stuff. I also really like Seventh Generation's Lavender/Peppermint dish soap. It seems to cut any garlic/onion smell from dinner which is nice!
Dr. Bronner also makes a great all purpose cleanser in several scents.
I have used the granite cleaner some. I make and sell my own non-toxic cleaners. They smell great and they're safe enough my kids can help me clean, even the two year old.

I just found their furniture polish and I love it – it makes me feel better that I'm not spraying toxic fumes everywhere. I also use Seventh Generation products (dish soap, dishwasher detergent, etc) and really like these. They have free $1 off coupons if you sign up online!
