Meredith wasn’t Merideth-y this week. She was, however, good and mad at Derek when she found that he received sole credit for their research which made the cover of a major medical journal. The even called Derek and Meredith’s research “The Shepherd Method”.
Meanwhile, Callie and Erica kicked back with some wine and went from “take it slow” to, well, undiscovered country. The next day, Callie sought out Sloan because she wasn’t sure she liked it, and likened the experience to “gynie rotation”. Of course, this revelation disgusted Sloan and he walked out, calling it “depressing and WRONG”.
The major case of the week is Bailey’s transplant domino surgery – twelve surgeries, six transplants – people donating to total strangers, twelve people walk away totally happy. If one donor was lost, the whole thing would fall apart. The docs were abuzz and asking for souvenir kidneys to take home in jars (Seriously? Ew). Then we found out that the one donor who appeared to have no connection to any of the recipients had a rather big connection to one of the donors – she’d been having an affair with him for several years. When his wife (another donor) found out, she threatened to back out – which could have collapsed the whole domino. Fortunately, the domino went as planned. Except – Merideth dropped a kidney, causing Bailey to invoke the five second rule (so scary!).
Not aware of the hesitance on Callie’s part, Erica asked her out. She had a lot of fun on the date. She didn’t realize that Callie wasn’t entirely feeling it. Callie once again sought Sloan’s expertise – she told him that just because HE hasn’t published a clinical trial, doesn’t mean he’s not a genius… She then dropped her pants so he could show her the Sloan Method. Heh. This lesson fueled her to find Erica – and she told Erica, “We’re trying this again.”
Throughout the hour, Merideth remained ticked off that she received no credit. Derek told her that she was being a baby, that she didn’t deserve the credit. Derek then tried to defend himself to Bailey, but Bailey straightened him out and told Derek he might start by telling Mer “thank you”. Annnnd, we all know nothing says “thank you” quite like a diseased kidney in a jar – so that’s what he gave her. There’s some true love.
In the end, Izzie confronted Alex and said to him that she cares about him. She cares. She cares She cares (oh, Izzie – you care?). They then ended in a big smooch. The episode closed in the bar with Yang catching a glimpse of the Army Guy – who didn’t know he’d be back?

So glad that Bailey told Derek to just say thank you, and he gave her a Kidney in a Jar , which is every girls dream. Guy's remember when you fight with a girl you live with just bring her home a Kidney in a Jar for the night stand! You will go places!
When Meredith dropped that kidney i could have died all though they did use the renowned 5 second rule, which is used on food sometimes, but I don't think that it works for a Kidney..But who am i to judge!
I love that Izzie and Alex kissed because it was a long time coming and they really are good for each other!
As for Lexi good for her, telling off George was the best thing that she could do! Now she can move onto bigger and better things like Mark and maybe he could teach her his "method"
McArmy needs to be a regular on the show because he is the right amount of man for Cristina!

"…Callie and Erica…" I'm over it. Those two just aren't cute together. I don't feel the need to 'root for them', ya know.
