Nothing says I love you like something handmade. This year give everyone on your gift list that warm, fuzzy feeling by adding these quick and easy gift tags made by their favorite little ones to their gift.
Materials
- circle (5 inch diameter) or 5 inch square
- popsicle sticks (we used jumbo size)
- strong nippers
- glue
- googly eyes
- sparkly jewel stickers
- hole punch
- ribbon
- scrap paper for antlers and stars
DIRECTIONS
To make the Christmas tree, you'll need three popsicle sticks. Cut off the ends of each stick at an angle (2 small, 2 medium and 2 large pieces). I cut off one end of the stick, and then used it as a guide to cut the other end. Glue them to the cardstock in the shape of the tree. We used brown paper for a rectangular trunk, sparkly jewel stickers for the ornaments, and a flower punch for the star at the top.
To make the reindeer, we cut the end off a popsicle stick and glued it to the card. I cut out "Y" shaped antlers from green paper. Googly eyes and a red sparkly jewel for the nose make this little guy complete.
Punch a hole and thread a ribbon through and you've got a gift that's sure to make everyone smile!
