Clay Aiken is receiving tons of well wishes for the recent birth of his son. Aiken and his friend Jaymes Foster welcomed a son late last week. Parker Foster Aiken was born on August 8th and is the first child for Aiken. Congratulations to the star.
Christian Bale will not be facing charges due to the family scuffle he had with his sister and mother a few weeks ago. No charges were brought due to lack of evidence. Bale had denied any altercation through his publicist right after news broke of the scandal. Hopefully the family can take some time to heal and deal with their differences in a much more healthier manner.
TV Pastor Joel Osteen’s wife Victoria was cleared of assault charges today. Mrs. Osteen was being sued by a flight attendant who said she suffer mental and physical harm during a flight back in 2005. The flight attendant was asking for 10% of Mrs. Osteen's net worth to cover her pain and suffering. The jury saw behind the fabrications and dismissed the suit and awarded the flight attendant a big fat nothing.

Is the birth of a baby a cause for celebration under any circumstances? I wonder if Clay and the 50-year-old new mother will actually raise this child together. Our society is teaching children that they can choose to marry a man or a woman, and being in marriage of a man and a woman isn't necessary if you want a child. It's sad.
K,
even if you believe as you do, I think it's still a cause for celebrating.. this child did nothing to be born in those circumstances- and surely God is not limited to working in that child's life. We don't know what is going to happen.
mandalyn,
I suppose that I wasn't being precise. I meant, do we celebrate/congratulate the parents? After all, this 50-year-old woman could have adopted, assuming that an agency would deem her a fit mother. Yes, the baby is innocent, God can do anything, and sperm donor Clay even considers himself a Christian. I don't know if God thinks that Clay is a Christian; that's another issue. : )
