How to Avoid Library Fines

Recently, I paid $14 in library late fees. Nice.

But hopefully the days of overdue books are behind me now that I've got the help of Elf.

Elf notifies me when my library books are almost due so I can get to the library before I start rackin' up the fines. It's a free service and you can receive notification via email, RSS and cell phone. Check to see if your library participates!

  1. I work part-time in the children's section of our library and I'm always telling folks about it. Haven't had an overdue fine since I signed up. :)
