It's almost Thanksgiving and I am in heaven! Is there ever a time to be more Blissfully Domestic than our winter holidays? I would say no. Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Hanukkah provide wonderful opportunities for those of us who embrace our domestic bliss to bake, cook, sew, decorate, create, invent, design, organize, scrapbook, and do just about everything else that tickles our blissful domesticity.
Hi everyone. I'm Kim from Up North Mommy and I declare that it is officially time to let your domestic bliss shine in our Thanksgiving week edition of I am Blissfully Domestic. Of course, you don't have to focus only on Thanksgiving. You can discuss any topic at the Blissfully Domestic site and with all the topics we have here, you can write about virtually anything.
Let me tell you that last week's posts were fantastic. They showcased everyone's domestic bliss beautifully and I enjoyed reading all of them. Since this is Thanksgiving week, I'm highlighting Mary Beth at Cupcakes and Crinoline, whose post got my taste buds watering. She focused her attention on her baking bliss and gave us a recipe for Pumpkin Pie Cake that would be a sweet and satisfying addition to anyone's Thanksgiving table. Pumpkin pie is a staple of Thanksgiving dinner and Mary Beth's recipe puts a fun new twist on a great Thanksgiving tradition. Stop by Mary Beth's place and say hello if you've never met her before.
We are looking forward to reading how you are celebrating your blissfully domestic side this week. Did you create a centerpiece for your Thanksgiving table? Did you create fun napkin holders? Did you get the bug and reorganize a space in your house? Join in on the fun and give us the link to your I am Blissfully Domestic post. Not only do I love to read new blogs, but I'm looking for a post I can feature in next week's edition. And as a reminder, don't forget to follow these guidelines:
- Grab one of the I am Blissfully Domestic buttons for your post (below)
