Welcome back Blissfully Domestic goddesses! I hope you all have had a thoroughly satisfying Thanksgiving with your families and friends. And for those brave women who ventured out on Black Friday, I hope you had success finding great deals. Here at Blissfully Domestic, Thanksgiving may be over, but the season of family and friendship is only beginning.
With the Christmas season in full swing, it's natural that we turn our attention to gift giving, and, in my mind, some of the best gifts are those that have a personal touch to them. This year, I'm making a few of my gifts for family members, and I'm so excited! It puts me into a truly blissfully domestic state of mind.
Last week's posts also put me in a Blissfully Domestic state of mind. I read so many fantastic posts, some provided wonderful recipes, others offered a great laugh. One really grabbed my imagination, though. Kimba at A Soft Place to Land made a beautiful Thanksgiving tablecloth. She did a masterful creating a piece that she can hand down to others. It's simply lovely and if you haven't yet seen it, click on over and take a look.
Tell us how you've Blissfully Domestic this week. If there's snow where you are did you bundle up and go outside to build snowmen or make snow angels with your kids? If so, did you capture the moment in pictures or video? Did you get out all of your Christmas decorations and make your house into a wonderland of Christmas nostalgia? If you're a homeschooling mom, maybe you came up with a creative way to teach a subject and want to share it with the rest of us. Whatever it is, we can't wait to read your posts! I'll be reading everyone's posts looking for an idea that stands out and must be highlighted next week. So have fun! And if you're joining us for the first time, welcome! Here are the guidelines:

Thought I'd join the party. My post is more of a comparison between my kids' sense of entitlement and MY sense of entitlement. Inspired? Parenting? I don't know.
Welcome, Steph! We're so glad you've joined the party.
Joining in on the fun! I'm always too critical of my domestic abilities.
Is there supposed to be a Mr. Linky here? I don't see it?
I thought I'd share some helpful tips from Federal Trade Commission on buying and using gift cards. You'll definitely want to check this out if you're planning on giving a gift card as a holiday gift this year.
Excellent idea, Jennifer. And it seems Mr. Linky is down again.
Here is my link if Mr. Linky isn't working:
Easy, NO STICK idea for rolling out pie dough. (Can work for cookies too!)
