Welcome to my first contribution to Blissfully Domestic!
I’m JoAnn and I am so happy you’ve joined me.
I will be blogging about home and garden…so if it is in or
around my home, trust me I’ve looked at it, and thought about if I like it or
want to change it. Either way, I’ll be
blogging about it.
Just to get us off on level ground…a little about me:
· I live in NJ with my Darling Husband and the
most perfect baby girl in the world who just turned 3.
· Our house is over 85 years old and is teeny, but
adorable.
· Considering our lot is the size of a postage
stamp, I have a lot of gardens
· I am obsessed with home design, improvement and
gardening.
This is one of my favorite photos, my daughter, Kelsey, our
kitty Montana in our living room at the window waiting for Daddy to come home. Also pictured is my absolute favorite chair,
my Morris chair. Every time my Mom comes
to visit, she must sit in that chair…and comments how much she wants it. I keep telling her that she’ll have to pry it
from my cold dead hands…
I am a creative/analytical type. When I can’t be creative in my life, I often
find myself up at all hours re-arranging my furniture, stripping something
(like our brick fireplace) or surfing the web looking at all the home design
and improvement blogs that I have bookmarked. Oh, and of course I am addicted to HGTV, TLC and A&E…any shows that
have home improvement/gardening themes.
