Fall is my favorite season and I love to celebrate it with my favorite people: my family! Though it seems like there's a bit of a dry spell between summer family vacations and the holidays, here are a few ways you can make your own special fall family tradition:
- Check your local paper for harvest festivals. If you can't find any, make your own for your family and friends. Nothing beats a gathering with food, fun and brisk autumn air!
- Take a day trip and check out the beautiful foliage. A friend of mine always took this opportunity to take a yearly family photo!
- Head over to the farm! Here in Pennsylvania, a lot of farmers make games and mazes out of their giant corn fields before they cut them down. It's a lot of fun finding your way out of a mess of corn that stands a foot taller than yourself!
- When all else fails, fall is a great time to curl up with a family movie, popcorn and some fresh apple cider!
