Just in case you need more fresh ideas to inspire your kids to write, here are two more sneaky ways to get them writing:

  • BlogsBlogging is a great writing outlet even for children. Writing daily in a blog format can help children develop good spelling & grammar skills and instill a love for writing at a young age. To protect a child's privacy & identity make sure to set up a private blog. Encourage family to comment on your child's blog to encourage him to write more. The instant recognition & approval from their own personal audience is a sneaky way to inspire them to write even more.
  • Email - Set your kids up with cyber pen pals. It could be Grandma who lives in Florida or a pal from the co-op who lives across town.

Will you see the new Twilight movie New Moon on Friday?
