While there weren't any children's movies released in theaters this week, on August 5 Nim's Island will be released on DVD. Nim's Island stars Abigail Breslin as Nim Rusoe, and Jodie Foster as Alexandra Rover. The movie is about a little girl who lives on an isolated island with her scientist father, and she begins communicating with a reclusive author of the book she happens to be reading. You might remember Abigail Breslin as the little girl in Little Miss Sunshine, Raising Helen, or Signs.
If you see or have seen any of these movies, come discuss them with us at the Blissfully Domestic forums. If you haven't joined yet, now is the time.
