Trader Joe's

1) Bag of Raw Almonds-Perfect for chomping on while watching dvr’d shows. The only ingredients in the almonds, are almonds. Best price on nuts anywhere.

2) Green Chili & Cheese Tamales-Ahh, my favorite quickie meal. Best on those nights when hubs is out of town and I have no energy whatsoever. Love me some chilies!

3) Microwavable Bag of Cubed Sweet Potatoes-3 yr old loves these! Minutes in the microwave and voila, ready to serve! I'll take convenience over price any day on these guys. Hey, sometimes it happens, right?

4) Frozen mini-cubes of Garlic-Who has fresh garlic on hand? I think I may have some from a month ago. Still able to use? I think not. Will never waste a half a head again!

5) Cuties Ice Cream Sandwiches-Yum! These are half the size and taste just like the real deal. Plus they’re soy, so less bad stuff. AND, you can't beat the price of these pups ANYWHERE else. I've looked.

6) Soy Vay Teriyaki Sauce-Major stir-fry staple. Plus, I use this in a ground turkey dish. mmmm. Love the added sesame seeds. $3 something a jar. Can we say BARGAIN?!

7) Gnocchi with red sauce-Love, love, love to make this with steamed broccoli. Cook on stovetop in 7 minutes. Feeds the hubs and me for under $3.

8) Organic Creamy Peanut Butter/Organic Fruit Spread/Multi-Grain Bread-This trio is the ideal main item on 3 yr old's lunch plate. I have even made myself a sandwich or two. Ok, I have one at least twice a week.

9) Honey Wheat Pretzel Sticks-Great snack for 3 yr old. Thicker than regular pretzel stick. Perfect for on the go. Easy to hand to the backseat while driving. Multi-tasking!

10) Noodles in a Box-Kung Pao and Peanut flavors are fabulous. Mix noodles with sauce IN box and heat in microwave for 2 minutes. Now eat! (I only use half the sauce to cut down on sodium. Still enough!) Perfect for when I don’t want to cook while hubs is out of town. Not the best nutrition, but quick, cheap and delish!

I love Trader Joes – just added 5 of these (1, 3, 4, 5 & 9) to my grocery list for this weekend. :) I also love TJ for string cheese (their string cheese is amazing), potatoes (mini red potatoes, sweet potatoes, it's all good), Joe Joes (so much better than Oreos), frozen mandarin orange chicken (a staple in our house), pre-made hardboiled eggs (a god send on lazy days – we love to make deviled eggs with them) & their fresh breads are awesome!

I do love Trader Joe's – guess I better get there this week! Do those almonds even beat Costco's price?

Will you see the new Twilight movie New Moon on Friday?
