The DVD releases seem to be slowing down but I am sure they will pick up soon with the holiday season just around the corner. Oh boy did I just type that?
The Happening tells the tale of a high school science teacher Elliot Moore, played by Mark Wahlberg, who must find a way to save his family from an unexplainable phenomenon that is wiping out the human race. Elliot along with his wife, played by Zooey Deschanel and his friend Julian, played by John Leguizamo, travel to Pennsylvania in hopes of outrunning the unknown killer. They quickly discover that the mass can also reach them there.
The movie chronicles their journey to find out what is causing this mass destruction and how they are going to stop it from killing off man kind.
The movie is rated R for violent and disturbing images and runs for 91 minutes.
You Don’t Mess with the Zohan is written by and stars Adam Sandler as an Israeli commando who fakes his own death so he can live out his dream of becoming a hairstylist in New York City. The movie is a comical trip through the adventures of Zohan as he takes on New York City and the characters he meets along the way.
The movie is rated PG-13 for crude and sexual content, language and nudity. The movie runs for 113 minutes.

Fruit Yogurt Parfait
Ingredients
- Granola
- 4 cups old-fashioned oats

- 2 cups grated coconut
- 1 cup sliced almonds
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3/4 cup vegetable
oil
- 1 cup granola cereal

- 1 1/2 cups strawberry
yogurt
- 1 cup sliced strawberries
- 1 cup blueberries
For the granola:
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Toss all together and place onto a cooking sheet. Bake for 30 minutes. Let cool.
In serving glasses, layer granola, yogurt, and fruit as desired. Serve immediately, or cover, and chill for up to 2 hours.
