New Show: Whatever, Martha!

Whatever, Martha!

The Fine Living channel debuted a new show this week: Whatever, Martha! The hosts Alexis Stewart (Martha Stewart's daughter) and Jennifer Koppelman Hutt take a Mystery Science Theatre 3000 approach to old episodes of "Martha Stewart Living," dissecting her projects with snark and wit.  The official description of the show according to the Fine Living website:

Martha Stewart cooks, cleans, crafts, gardens and entertains better than anyone. Who among us hasn't, at one time or another, watched the lifestyle expert with overwhelmed awe and wished that we could say to her, Whatever, Martha! We can't, but they can!

No matter what level of "domestic bliss" you've achieved, I think everybody could probably identify with the idea of watching some of Martha's projects and thinking, "How would I ever incorporate that into my life?"  I know I have.

There are several repeat airings of the show, so there are still chances to check out the first episode as well as catch new episodes.  It conveniently airs right after The Martha Stewart Show on Fine Living.

Jill blogs at GlossyVeneer where she rambles about her daily life and reviews random things/places she encounters.  She also writes at JillWillRun, as she trains for a marathon while raising money for cancer research.

I has planted in my chair Tuesday night when this previewed. I'm not much of a Martha fan but will sit peacefully when someone cracks on her.

It was great. Not too much razzing but just enough to laugh the full 30 minutes.

Alexis and Jennifer have a following in me =)

  2. I LOVED it! :)
