<description>You know how we love those denim jumpers!

here&#039;s a favorite poem:
by C. J. Reno
submitted by Sarah Steimel

Now it may not be new,
Or particularly blue,
But to wear it&#039;s a comforting thing.
In its pockets are pens,
And math fact cards (through ten)
And a forty-five inch piece of string.

Its skirt spread strong and wide,
Children flock to my side,
As we sit to do school on the floor.
When the learning is done,
We just jump up and run,
&#039;Cause I&#039;m ready to walk through the door.

It&#039;s survived hands-on math,
And the dog&#039;s springtime bath,
And tree climbing (with just a small tear).
With a &quot;T&quot; when it&#039;s hot,
Turtleneck when it&#039;s not,
It&#039;s the most comfortable thing that I wear.

At its hem, a small stain,
From that day in the rain,
When we helped Debra rescue her cat.
On a day bright and hot,
Came a slightly green spot,
From the freshly-mown grass where I sat.

There&#039;s no need to wear satin,
While studying Latin,
Or silk while you walk through the Zoo.
Keep your French &quot;runway art&quot;,
Because I&#039;ll never part,
With that jumper of worn denim blue.
