Thanks for the feedback ladies. We just have some rock facing left over from the front of our house that needs to be used up and I have been brainstorming way to do it. I think we can build a square fire pit using it.

We have an outdoor firepit. I got it for my husband for Christmas last year. We love it. There's nothing like the smell of a campfire outside that makes me feel all outdoorsy.

I'd love to be able to build our own fire pit! Though I guess the rest of the patio needs to get done first. And in order for that to get done, we need to get started on it.

I think I'll eventually just buy us one on clearance like AmyDe suggests.

Those are truly lovely, but as it's still 90+ until 9 p.m. here in the south I'll just enjoy the photos. It might be nice for November though – I bet I could even find one on clearance then – hey there's an idea! Thanks!
