It's good to hear that retailers are recognizing that the majority of the population doesn't wear single digit numbers.

I'm a big on trying on too — at least until I get a feel for a particular company's sizing. Although that doesn't always work either!

So they make plus sized clothes, but couldn't put a cardigan on a model that fits?

Miss Britt: I love trying on clothes as well but returning things to Old Navy is very easy.

Stacerella: Having purchased clothes from Old Navy online previously, I have found their size chart very helpful and true to size. In fact some of their pants and jeans even come in petite, average and tall.

I've also found that with any designer that having my clothes tailored has always been the way to go for a perfect fit.

Returns are very simple with Old Navy. Every order comes with a return label and Old Navy pays for the return.

I recommended this line only because it's simple for someone who doesn't have time to shop and doesn't know where to start.

Thank you so much for this post! Old Navy is becoming such a great resource for me. I'm also finding lots of good plus-sized work clothes at Talbot's – mucho sales too.

Let me get this straight… Old Navy is kind enough to make a whole line dedicated to us bigger girls, but they are just as cruel as to make us buy them online without a chance to try them on to ensure good fit and form for our very individual shaped bodies before we buy them?!? What if we have to return something because it's not the size we need? Are we to pay for shipping twice??

This is a good idea gone bad if you ask me. And, yes, I am plus size and I am daring to complain, and no I won't shut up and just be grateful someone is thinking of us finally. Sorry, but I don't buy clothes online because I need to try stuff on. Apparently that's asking too much of Old Navy.

It's too bad this is only available online. I'm such a proponent of trying on!! At least you can "try it out" online.
