Yes, seems like for awhile we all thought plaid was so “out” but BRING ON THE PLAID! I think I’ll unpack one of my plaid tablecloths. If it is good enough for Ralph, it is good enough for me! Thanks ladies!

Excellent article Melissa. I always forget that part of what makes this look so successful is the plaid. Guess I need to stop avoiding plaids and get some more menswear inspired fabrics in the mix!

I love the plaid wallpaper in those photos!

We had plaid wallpaper in the kitchen of our old house, and I thought it gave the room such a warm, homey feel.
