Sewing kids lounge pants from pillowcases

I would love to be able to call myself a seamstress, but seeing as how
I can't sew as well as I'd like, I usually stick to doing crafts &
semi-easy sewing projects.

That is why I just had to share this with
you! If I can do it….I'm pretty sure ANYBODY can!

These little girl wide-leg lounge pants come to us from Janes Apron.
She actually shares with us step by step instructions on how to make
them! If anyone does try to make a pair, be sure to not only share a
picture with us here, but also with Jane!

This is so awesome! I've made Pillowcase dresses but I've not tried to make her pants. How cute! What a fabulous way to use all those cool patterned pillow cases we inherit. I've got a ton.

  2. They're fabulous! I want an adult sized pair :D

Ooooh, I love these. I may have to attempt them. I have made a pillowcase dress before but I hadn't seen pants.

    Oh. I covet.

I think I'd be needing like 6 matching pillow cases to make me a pair.

  5. Reminds me of "stepins" my grandmother used to make from feed sacks. She made them because she had to (in those days you didn't throw anything away) and now people are doing it because it is "cute." Whats old is new again.

I don't have a daughter, but what a cool idea!

  7. So cute! My daughter made pillowcase skirts before but I've never seen pants!
