		<description>I really do wonder if the &quot;okayness&quot; of a shower for subsequent children is partly dependant on geography.  I live in Ontario, Canada, and not a single person I know has had any sort of shower for a child that isn&#039;t their first.

That being said, I&#039;m totally jealous of anyone who has such a thing thrown for her and her subsequent children, and wouldn&#039;t say no if people offered to put some food in my freezer for the upcoming post-c-section days.  Alas, my friends who might be inclined to do such a thing don&#039;t live nearby and it&#039;s hard to send casseroles through the internet.  :)

We recently threw a shower for a girl in my neighborhood who is expecting her third boy. We bought little Camelbak back packs for the boys and a hiking baby carrier for the new one- now the whole family can enjoy a hike together!
