Skin Care Review: australianScent

I'm a creature of habit, and I normally don't like to try new skin care products, because I really like the ones I already use. But recently I heard about australianScent, and I was intrigued because australianScent was founded, and its products invented by a married couple on a quest to heal the husband's psoriasis using natural ingredients. The prescribed treatments had had disastrous side effects and hadn't helped his condition so they set out to help him themselves. How cool is that? By formualting their products to be organic, non-toxic, water-free and super concentrated and by utilizing organic and wild crafted ingredients, organic extracts, essential oils and butters they found a solution to his psoriasis and invented a product line that allows skin to breathe and thrive.

I wanted to try australianScent because I've got this really irritating dry patch on my back that I battle every fall and winter. It's in a really difficult spot to reach and is very itchy. I've been using australianScent's balm of Gilead on it and it has helped tremendously!

This balm is very concentrated, and a little goes a long way. It smells great and after only a week, my dry patch is really improving! Balm of Gilead is also a great moisturizer for your face and is suitable for oily, combination and dry skins. It is high in essential fatty acids, known for their antibacterial and anti- inflammatory effects, it is particularly suitable for sufferers of acne, eczema, psoriasis and rosacea.

Another australianScent product I adored is the kelp 'n Honey scrub.

This stuff is amazing! It feels great when you are rubbing it on, and while it is exfoliating it dissolves into sheer, luxurious moisturization. My skin felt so soft and radiant after using this scrub. Kelp n' Honey Scrub is rich in essential fatty acids and fat soluble vitamins A, D, E and K, widely known to prevent dehydration and act as free-radical neutralizers. But in layman's terms – it is WONDERFUL!

I am saving the best for last. My absolute favorite australianScent product I tried was the Koala Bee soap.

It's been a long time since I have used a bar soap. I've been riding the "body wash" train for awhile now, and I have tried about a million kinds. This soap was so much better than anything I have ever used to wash with. It has a lot of great stuff in it, including eucalyptus and honey, and it smells great, exfoliates, and moisturizes like a dream. The only way I can put it into words is by saying this: if Koala Bee Soap were a lip balm, it would be classic Burt's Bees. That's right, when I use this soap, I feel like I am washing with a refreshing bar of Burt's Bees lip balm. You get that same tingly, minty-honey sensation and it's extremely refreshing. Koala Bee is a great wake-me-up and well as a great clean-me-up!

I cannot recommend australianScent enough! They have a ton of different products for the face and body, so head over to their website and see all they have to offer! With australianScent, there are no toxins, no parabens, no animal cruelty, and no worries!

  1. I have also been riding the body wash train for a while now. I don't know if it was the Bath and Body Works epidemic that plagued bar soaps, or if people simply became tired of smelling equivalent to hotel shower, but I rarely find anyone who uses them. I recently made a transition to bars, and have found how much I like them! I will have to try the Koala Bee soap; even the name sounds attractive. I have been using a type of organic, eucalyptus soap that smells wonderful and leaves my skin very soft (unlike other bars where it I feel dryer than ever). I suggest this site:
