You step into the shower and luxuriate as the steamy, relaxing water cascades over your body. You put deep conditioning treatment in your hair and leave it on for the full five minutes, as directed. You exfoliate, paying special attention to knees, elbows, heels. You scoop some creamy shave gel and shave carefully, smoothing a hand over your legs to be sure you didn’t miss a spot.
Reluctantly, you exit the shower, pick a fresh towel, and dry off. Next, you slather a rich moisturizer over your entire body while it’s still warm from the shower. You are now as soft as a baby’s bottom!
Wait. Baby? There’s a baby? That requires a re-write.
You jump in the shower, yelling at your husband to please for the love of heaven just watch them for 3 minutes! You wash quickly, rinsing out the conditioner after 2.5 seconds (knowing your head will look like something the cat coughed up by noon). Exfoliate? Shave? Ha! There is already a kid banging on the shower door and you can hear the baby crying. You have 1.5 minutes remaining just to be clean at the minimum acceptable level. It may need to last for days.
You grab the towel that is the least damp, pull on your robe, and head back into the ring. I mean, into the kitchen. Your moisturizer sits, neglected.
So, is it just me, or is it really hard to take the extra time to moisturize every day?

It’s a lovely product. I buy two at a time. I’m completely hooked. I’ve been able to add a frequently skipped step to my beauty routine with the absolute minimum of both time and money. That’s a win in my book.
