Stacking the Benches

Having cubbies near your entryway can give your busy family a handy advantage but many of the ones found in stores can cost a pretty penny. That's why Good Housekeeping gave this terrific idea of painting and stacking different size benches to create your own personal organization station.

Just find several benches of different sizes, paint them and then stack 'em. Drill screws into the legs from each bench below. Affix to the wall using furniture clips that can be found at any local hardware store.

Add baskets, nameplates, etc to make your station work for your family! I think it's a great idea for kids to have their own cubby to keep school bags, sports equipment, etc in.

Have an organizational method that works for you? We'd love to hear about it! Grab a cup of coffee and join us in the conversation over at the Blissfully Domestic Forum!
