Well I guess I will have to watch SNL for Michael Phelps then.
Looks like Barack Obama has canceled his appearance on SNL due to hurricane Ike. The Presidential candidate decided that it would be better under the circumstances if he did not go forward with his scheduled appearance. Instead he has chosen to return home and spend the weekend with his family.
I for one am hugely disappointed. I was totally psyched to see what SNL had cooked up for Mr. Obama. The skit they did with Hillary Clinton a while back was pretty entertaining.
Speaking of Michael Phelps, I cannot wait to see how he does tonight. I have been so please with how he has handled himself during and after the Olympics. He is so humble and such a good-natured young man. I am sure that the writers at SNL will have a great time coming up with material for him for tonight’s episode.
