The tribe returns from tribal council and Matty is fuming. He approaches Kenny about why he voted for him. Kenny tries to explain himself, but Matty doesn’t want to hear any of it. Crystal, Kenny and Sugar huddle and decide Matty will be next to go since he is such a physical threat.
Kenny approaches Bob and asks him why he lied to him about the hidden idol. Bob feels bad that he tricked Kenny and offers to give him the next immunity idol if he wins. Kenny admits to the camera he is playing Bob. Meanwhile Bob admits to the camera that he wants to be an upstanding man of his word and owes Kenny. Interesting contrast.
Reward challenge is kind of a basketball challenge where the reward is to go to a gorilla sanctuary, dinner, a good night’s sleep and a shower. They also have the power to send someone to Exile Island. Matty takes an early lead proving himself to be the physical threat everyone says he is. But Bob pulls it out in the end. Actually Bob wins before any of the women even make a single shot. Does anyone else find it incredibly shocking that Crystal was once an Olympic athlete?
Bob gets to choose two people to accompany him on his reward. He picks Crystal and Kenny without hesitation further trying to align with them to save his heiny. He then sends Susie to Exile Island leaving Matty to work on Sugar to try and get out Kenny and Crystal.
Bob, Kenny and Crystal talk strategy over dinner. They decide to vote Matty out next if he doesn’t get the immunity idol. They decide that if Kenny wants the immunity idol at the next tribal council he gets it, but if he thinks Bob is in jeopardy he will let him keep it. Then they head over to the gorilla sanctuary after showering to admire the gorillas.
Back at Exile Island, Susie relaxes in the hut and eats her fill of fruit. Back at camp, Matty works Sugar hard to get Kenny and Crystal out of the game. Sugar doesn’t bite and is quite clear with Matty that unless he wins immunity he is going home.
The three return from their reward and Kenny and Crystal immediately start in on Matty. Crystal tells him that he betrayed them and has changed and Matty seems baffled. Sugar gets really upset at the way they are treating Matty and starts to question her alliance with the two of them. She sees Kenny as a manipulator and Crystal as a bully. She indicates to Matty that she is going to shake up the game and vote off Crystal by pulling Bob and Susie in with them.
Immunity challenge obstacle course in which they have to recreate a mask they have “memorized” while blindfolded at the other end of the course. All players seem to have different strategies for completing the challenge. Except Crystal who isn’t even on the course. Bob wins immunity in his fourth win in a row. This begs the question why no one is gunning for him especially since he is so well liked.
Kenny and Crystal decide back at camp to take the immunity idol from Bob and then turn and vote Bob out since he is so strong (proving that I am so right!!). Crystal agrees to go along even though she wants to vote out Matty. Kenny starts to work on Bob to get the immunity idol, but Bob tells Kenny he has no reason to think Kenny will get voted out.
Kenny heads back to the others and asks them to tell Bob they are voting for Kenny so he will be forced to give Kenny the idol. Sugar approaches Bob and rats Kenny out and tells Bob he should align with her and Matty and vote out Crystal. Bob struggles with whether to trust Sugar. Sugar wears her heart on her sleeve and tells Bob how much she likes him and that she wants the good guys to win. It is truly anyone’s guess who is voting for who going into tribal council. My head is spinning.
At tribal Kenny calls Bob out on his promise to give him the immunity necklace. Bob makes the case that the terms of that promise were renegotiated to only give up immunity if he thought Kenny was in danger. Kenny spends the rest of tribal council working the jury HARD that he is the most in danger of going home. When it comes time for Bob to possibly give up immunity, he keeps the idol saying he doesn’t think Kenny is going home.
After the votes are cast, Jeff asks if anyone would like to play the immunity idol. Sugar hands her immunity idol over to Matty and he plays it negating any votes cast against him. Crystal becomes the next person voted off in a sweet upset setting up the season finale for a showdown with Kenny, Susie, Bob, Sugar and Matty. This will be interesting.

I really wish it would have been Kenny. I need to go on line and watch the Ponderosa footage. I just can’t imagine that the juror welcomed Crystal with open arms…
Ah, sweet, sweet victory…FINALLY they get rid of Krystal, who has done nothing for the tribe, seriously. I know you're gunning for Matty to win it, Ms. Anderson, but I'm behind Bob all the way. I wouldn't mind seeing Matty take it home, but at this point, he's pissed off too many people.
Here's what should happen now…
Bob knows to trust Sugar and Matty, but his promise to Kenny puts him in a precarious position because, in the end, Bob's an honest sort of guy.
That means that if Kenny IS on the chopping block and DOES ask for the necklace, Bob'll give it to him.
Now, it's time for our newest trio (Sugar, Matty and Bob) to pick off Kenny and then Susie (love the girl, but if they take her to final two, she'll win, hands down).
Now, if my man Bob is really, really smart, he'll team with Sugar, who has been the schemer the whole time thanks to her many removals from camp via trips to the Sugar Shack, and take out Matty after Susie.
If -Matty- is smart, he should gun for Bob next, hands down, and then take out Kenny, then Susie. He would have less a chance of winning against Sugar than Bob would, for the pure and simple fact that with Matty and Sugar as final two, the jury very well may discuss and vote on the "game" angle… who played the game the best? Sugar did.
If Kenny and Susie are smart, they'll try to flip one of these three and knock Sugar out, then get Bob to flip and take out Kenny, then Bob. Naturally, neither of us want THAT.
For now, I'm holding out that paranoia won't get to our favorites, that they'll hold true to a good, strong alliance, and that the best man will come out on top. And that that man won't be Kenny (grr, he ticks me off with his poor-me stunts).
Er… Kenny and Susie should scheme to take out Sugar, then MATTY, then Bob. Jeez. I can type.
